WHAT IS THE BOOKING PROCESS?

I only shoot a handful shoots a month and mostly on the weekends. I like to try and schedule shoots 3-4 weeks out in order for us to have time to schedule a consultation beforehand. My session fees are due at the time of booking and are non-refundable. Once we have selected a date, we will have a pre-session consultation, either at your home or over the phone to plan the details of your shoot, including location and styling.

WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE?

If you need to reschedule, I will apply the session fee to the new date. Please give me as much advanced notice as possible so that I can fit another client in if possible.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?

I will reschedule on the morning of the session if the weather is severe. I will usually wait until 2 hours prior to the session to reschedule if the weather is “iffy.” If the weather turns bad during the session, I will reschedule for the remainder of the time. During the busy season (October-December) I may not be able to accommodate a rescheduled session prior to the new year.

WHEN WILL MY GALLERY BE READY?

Anywhere from 2-4 weeks, depending on my current workload. I aim to have your larger group of proofs to you within the first two weeks. Once you've made your selections, it may take up to 3 additional weeks to receive your final prints.

WHAT DOES THE SESSION FEE INCLUDE?

The session fee is the up-front service fee for my time consulting with you, traveling to the shoot and providing my photographic expertise and artistic vision. It does not include products beyond what is specified in your selected package. Additional prints, products and services are sold desperately.

WHAT ARE THE FINAL PRODUCT I WILL BE RECEIVING?

You are able to choose your top selection from a group set that will be sent to you via a gallery link. These original raw images will be available to you as well. Once you've selected your top choices, I will then go in and retouch those to make them picture perfect and print ready. Your final package will include a USB that contains both your final edited top choice images and the other viable raw images from the shoot you originally saw in your gallery.

DO YOU OFFER DIGITAL FILES?

Yes. Once you've selected your final set, you will receive a USB key from me with your finale edited images. Most packages also include an extension of more raw footage from the session for you to use at your leisure.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT CERTIFICATES?

Why yes, I do! How lovely of you to ask! Gift certificates are customizable for the amount you want to spend, whether for the session fee or products as well. I will provide you a pretty paper product to present to your loved one.

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Cash, check or PayPal.

DO YOU OFFER “MINI” SESSIONS?

Yes, but only a few times a year–usually once in the spring and once in the fall. Follow my blog to learn of current promotions, or shoot me an email and ask!

HOW LONG IS THE SESSION?

My sessions usually take between 1-2 hours, unless you book a longer/larger package. That being said capturing everything you need is more important to me than watching the clock.
